TGO Show #10 - Nintendo Gets Away With Murder

Sat, 23 May 2020 10:17:59 +0000

J has finished his grand Odyssey whilst Nick perseveres through and tries out his first recent mobile game. The NEWS of a Fallout 76 2020 Roadmap, an Anthem development update and AC: Valhalla's size provides plenty to discuss. We REACT to the Ghost of Tsushima State of Play, and of course, we DEBATE how Nintendo gets away with murder. Welcome... my lords.... to Isengard.

TGO Show #9 - J and Nic Adore Odyssey

Sat, 16 May 2020 21:16:51 +0000

Welcome to the biggest TGO Show yet. Amongst the NEWS that there's many summer festival virtual gaming events coming soon, REACTIONS to some surprising remakes from Activision, and an impressive Unreal Engine 5 demo, J and Nic have been busy falling in love with Assassin's Creed: Odyssey.

TGO Show #8 - We're Fed Up Gaming

Sun, 10 May 2020 00:14:15 +0000

J and Nick have been suffering from a lack of desire to play video games. It's time for a break. Alas, this does not mean a break from the NEWS of a Fallen Order update, REACTIONS to the new Assassin's Creed: Valhalla trailer, DEBATING whether we should be excited for video games, and Nick relived his deep love of the Modern Warfare 2 Campaign. Welcome... to the desert... of the real.

TGO Show #7 - What Is The Best Star Wars Game?

Sat, 02 May 2020 05:00:00 +0000

While Nick is evermore close to finishing Red Dead II, J has platinumed Trials of Mana, played through the latest Borderlands 3 Mayhem 2.0 update, and tried out Predator: Hunting Grounds. In terms of NEWS, Nick has some emotional words to say about TLOU II leaks whilst J has some reservations about the Final Fantasy VII Remake. We talk about the GENRE that is Star Wars Games, DEBATE whether games are too pretty, and give you a FUN FACT about Red Dead II.

TGO Show #6 - Nick Finished Fallen Order

Sat, 25 Apr 2020 05:00:00 +0000

J and Nick have been very busy playing games over the last week or so, and in a mad dash of love Nick has got every achievement for Jedi: Fallen Order whilst J has finished FFXIII for the first time ever. We speculate on Bethesda's and Rockstar's release schedule over the next few years and we talk about one of the most overlooked games of last generation. Oh, and we answer Mark's email on our favourite gaming moments of all-time. THE TGO SHOW!!

TGO Show #5 - Did You Know Final Fantasy VII Was Remade?

Sat, 18 Apr 2020 13:49:31 +0000

J's Dad Mark was kind enough to send an email to the TGO Show which we address while Nick has been busy mopping up a few of his games, including platinuming GRIS and getting all the achievements for the 2nd DLC for Borderlands 3. J and Nick go through another HISTORY DIP of course, GAME QUOTE from FFXIII, and, oh, did you know Final Fantasy VII is being remade? Well it released, and J has completed it. What a blessed world we live in.

TGO Show #4 - Final Fantasy XIII Is Fantastic

Sat, 11 Apr 2020 10:28:30 +0000

This week on the TGO Show Nick and J have many things they want to get off their chests. Such as J's thoughts on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's new Battle Royale mode Warzone, how trophies/achievements affect a games longevity, and how Nick has been playing Skyrim wrong for the last 11 years. Plus: snuffed bonuses, science in gaming, AND THE PS5 CONTROLLER! We also have DEBATE where Nick and J explain why FF XIII is one our favourites of the franchise, and of course a HISTORY DIP. Lots to play, lots to complete.

TGO Show #3 - J Platinumed Final Fantasy XV

Wed, 08 Apr 2020 05:06:00 +0000

I could tell you that this weeks TGO Show includes Nick mopping up a few back-catalogue games as well as a discussion about some rumoured mario ports. I could tell you that J and Nick also talk about tech features on the current gen we take for granted, and how excited J is, and how curious Nick is, for FF VII remake to release. More importantly, I could tell you about Nick and J's thoughts on Borderlands 3's second campaign DLC as they've both finished it. But I would be mistaken in telling you these things and assuming your interest when J achieving the platinum for FFXV in a week should take the spotlight. As we all know.

TGO Show #2 - Sunny Gaming

Sun, 05 Apr 2020 17:03:12 +0000

Since Nick discussed his troubles with Assassin’s Creed: Rogue achievements, J tells us which game he had the same issue with. In the world of the present, unbelievable things are happening: Fallout 76 DLC Wastelanders delayed, the source code for Xbox Series X is being held ransom, and a new Half-Life game has released. In the world of the past, Nick and J discuss Kingdom Hearts and Dead Space, and, wait. What’s sunny gaming?

TGO Show #1 - REGRET, REGRET, REGRET

Fri, 03 Apr 2020 01:37:09 +0000

J and Nick talk about a Halo 2 quote which brings back many great memories of them playing co-op on the same Halo 2 Earth missions over and over again. Nick discusses his love-hate relationship with Halo: The Master Chief Collection, J gives his impressions of Bleeding Edge, and we both deduce the latest on next gen. Oh, and you remember Dantes Inferno? Well, me and J do. Very well.

TGO Show #0 - Why We Love Video Games

Fri, 03 Apr 2020 00:37:43 +0000

J and Nic talk about why they love video games.

Borderlands 3 'is a Borderlands game'

Sun, 17 Nov 2019 08:00:00 +0000

We often use labels to easily explain game genres. Why is it then that I have such a particular issue with this negative label towards the Borderlands franchise?
