Kingdom Divided Episode 51

The Selling of A Dream

Penelope & Casimir, go and meet up with Titus Covenguard, convincing him that House Durand will stand by House Covenguard if war comes. Titus does not trust they will without writing it down. They give him the “keys” to House Durand, but they are just some normal keys. 

Sioban talks to Boris Rameriz, about what they hopes they have to deal with the future. They are going to get a drug to help Caden, and Boris Rameriz says that he will push to take over the tested in Silverridge from Emogen. After that meeting she goes to talk to Timothy, she finds him with in an argument with House Silveroak, who was owed to become a banner. With the rumors of House Henge joining House Whitestar, makes him feel they will be bypassed again. Sioban tells Timothy of the Kayna, and that the plan is to go to Windbreak and convince Hans to submit. They will go by sail. Timothy will send troops marching on Windbreak, and declare the wedding there. 

A meeting of the Rings

Nola Holt takes a meeting with Boris, who asks how to take care of beetles for Caden, and tries to get information from her about Imogen, and the nature of Silverridge's tested. 

The Old World, New Revolts.

Lyla meets with Dutchess Mercy. The conversation explains, that house talmart has troops left behind, they are preparing for war. Also that she knows very well the purpose and connections of the Collation of Shadows. She also implies that she holds her “duchy" title to the rivers but that is not her obligation to the esten people. They also note that there is something special in the woods of Silverridge that Montimer wants.. 

Boris meets with Conor

To get his support and to tell him that he feels that Carrick is not a lost cause and he feels he a can aid him in to being a leader, he has written a book about it.

There is a dinner, where Timothy and Casimir is there, Timothy offers to give the tuition of his first son to go to the academy at Icehaven. Conversation moves to letting the mikado attack the enemies of the eastern houses. Casimir then makes references to the idea that almern is “animal fuckers” creating a conflict and ending the meal. 

Over are period of 3 days the major push for the war starts. 

The Eastern Army has multiple successes, with minor losses, they also do a night raid on the saffrons. Breaking the lines of the beetle mounts.

The Imperial army being commanded by Endulaudaus captured Samson Kreig and wins the war, he does not survive to trial from his wounds in the battle. 

Celebration at Bridgevale

Siobhan, asks about Timothy Whitestar, and Soverighn tells her that Timothy had a vision. In private he tells her of the vision of the death of his parents, and that is was pushed by the rivers people. He is livid at the current power structure. 

There is a push to find information on getting a drug to cure Carrick Silverridge from his poison, Boris takes the time to learn where the cure is, there is a special cinnamon tree in the saffron isles that can cure him. 

The talk to the Ex-Judge

They talk to Louis Covenguard and he tells the group that Sonya Brovina is racing to Oldwyn to become the first of the Peacekeepers taking Louis' job. 

Most people decide they will go to Oldwyn, but not bring enough people in case Douglas Sherman, will take hostages. 

The Question on Rivercliff

Penelope and Casimir talk about what they are going to do about Rivercliff and the debate ends that they will tell Titus that they will not challenge him if he invades rivers but will not support him before open war. 

Soverighn Wisdom

Notes that he will will ask to leave the connection to the West and deal with matters in the East, after helping retake Windbreak, he will go in to Montomer. 

Connor's Plan

He wants to go with just him and Rory to bend the knee, but leave the next generation away. He thinks Siobhan should go and talk to Henrick to try to convince him to give up the city. He feels the party should take the river, and use that path to get to the saffron isles and get the cure for Carrick.

Whitestar's Choice

Timothy is told about the windbreak issues, as well as Siobhan, being wanted by the Kayna (Maybe from both sides of her family) , He will publicly declare the wedding with be at Windbreak so he can send the armies to back her with Connor's plan. 

Casimer and the Faithful

Casimir Ramirez meets up with a group of clappers led by Alfieri Borroni the head of the clappers. They give him comfort as they try to heal Diego, he is stabilized but is not going to be able to travel for years. Casimir Ramirez has a religious moment with them. 

They make it back to the encampment, and meet up with Conor Silverridge and Rory Silverridge. They give the update of what they learned at the Saffron Society camp. Connor then updates the Cadre, that the Duke of Bellkind, offred 50 silver for evidence on who was involved in the Mikado Captains prison break. It seems that men of Talion Ramirez have given up information on them being involved. Since then the key members of Silverridge have been under hiding with the aid of Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich. They know at any time they could be called up for giving evidence, that could lead to a trial of House Silverridge.

There are also strong questions on if Windbreak is in the hands of the Kayna, or the Saffrons, or the Saffron Socitey? It's really up in the air.

3 People to talk to?

Teressa Wycliff

They go to talk to Teressa Wycliff who confirms that Sofiya Baranova has not come to the camp and has not return. She also notes that Sofiya is not an ally of Luis Covinggard. Tressa also explains that Connor Silverridge is not as immune as they think, because there is also Timothy Whitestar here he can be made leader of the Crusader Troops. 

She also tells them that the saffron troops are likely to be pulled into Faymill as the fighters are being held by Bellmoor. She is also clear that Talion Ramirez is supported by the pirate kings, and they will not hunt him down. 

Teressa hears about the ritual started of the hundreds of people of the safforn society, but does not have the magical knowledge to give information on it, and recommends they talk to the tested. 

There was a question on if other spy networks would be willing to go to war with the Red Spot. Teressa does not recommend an open war vs the spy network. 

Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich

Soverighn, tells the cadre that he has been hiding the Silverridges, when he tells the cadre, that they will be picked up if they walk the streets, Casimer says he needs to speak to Luis Covinggard. Soverighn says that he will send for him. He greatly advices to not confront Luis, but Casimer will not bend. 

Luis Covinggard

Luis and his cadre comes and arrests the party for questioning. They tell him that Sofiya Baranova has been seen behind enemy lines. He turns the conversation over to Casimir's honor, as he his going for questioning maybe he should not be accusing a Peacekeeper. His cadre takes the weapons of the party. 

Lyla realizes that Luis has his sword of office on the wrong side. 

After a conversation walking through the streets, Luis gives Casimer a dagger to hide. The fact that Luis is breaking the law is very unusual. Luis also confronts Casimir about his accusation when he learns that Casimir did not personally see any of the crimes. 

The Trial & Announcements

Endulaudaus calls the trial and starts to question Casimer, while the trial goes poorly, Duke Connor Silverridge and stands and takes over the defense. He show the proof that Talian demanded a pact that they were not part of the crusader troops, and that they were not under the orders of any crusader. Getting them off the trial because of the information provided. 

Endulaudaus then tells the collected people, that the Emperor has fallen in to coma, that Douglas Sherman has returned to the imperial city of Oldwyn to take regency of the young emperor. He also notes that all the peacekeepers need to be reinvested by the child emperor, and that he hopes people respect their previous title. 

Most people realize while they are still in the middle of the saffron war, that civil war is also very likely. 

The group talks for a while, about what they will do with the knowledge that Sofyia Baranova, is here with Samson Kreeg. They decide to wait it out to try to get more information. Boris tells the group of the multiple factions in the peacekeepers

• Shepherds - It is their job to move people to be less criminals not put everyone on trial

Breaking the Fast

Amund Henge goes to a group of the mercenary leaders and wins a bit of money. The rest of the group decides to talk to the masses, learning that this windmill is a reinforcement place to refresh the armies. They see the support of the local population but it's hard to tell if they are under destress. They realize that at least in the mercenaries that they don't know that Samson Kreeg is here? Also they are able to not be noticed by Sofyia Baranova, as she leaves. The troops note that other minor nobles are going supporting the saffrons to gain power in the future regime.

The Walking March

They see a large group of a few hundred, older common folk walking though the camp, they ask a priest and he says they preparing themselves to be a ritual of the rod. Where they go to a places and their god will strike a few but take the energy of all. During this conversation they decide to go and look at a saffron ritual, but leave before they are effected Boris takes a saffron prayer book. This is also when they are told that Windbreak has fallen and will be where the Mikado allies will land.

Sneaking in, and out, and in?

Lyla first shoots down a saffron lightning rod, and then sneaks in the area where, Samson Kreeg is, but has to start killing people to stop the alarm from being raised. After killing a few she has to flee but the camp is in uproar. With the fall of the rod, the war beetles start losing control. The party decides to and “rescue” her but as she has already escaped they kill a few more and then run. 

A Noble lady behind the Lines

Shivon, behind the lines sees that there is food being stolen. She meets up with the head cook at the fort(Matty) Matty The Cook , improving her feelings towards her. Suggesting that food for the nobles would help the poor she is directed to Edith

Edith the Monk a bellringer monk.

Shivon and Penelope go and meet this bellringer monk, and give medical attention and create a food process for them. Shivon does well at keeping a positive feelings in her new domain. They give enough food so there is 8 months left of food for the nobles.

Meeting with With the Prime Minister

They go to Endulaudaus, and are "rebuked" for going out on their own, and are told that they should be the key part of the unique unit. They return to Conner who says that it might work that if they go on their own before they are noticed out.

Caden talking with?

First he tried to talk to Soverighn, to give him information on Lord Timothy, but Timothy is drunk and Caden escapes the conflict with no issues.

Caden has a meeting with Nola Holt, talking about the war scarabs, she says she she can get a few for him, but not the larger numbers he wants for units. She is willing to pay for his samples but he has not made a choice.

Caden says he will return, when he meets up with Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich who tells him of his fight, and that he had heard of Abdul Deiz de Requena but thought he was dead. Soverighn also is very upset that he hears that the Shadow Guard where ordered to magics in public, but in heading that Casimir Durand lost his personal unit of troops from the crusades gives him some slack.

As they are also meandering in to the city they see Louis Covinggard he tells them of the winds that the saffron troops can use to stop archery attacks, he was able to overcome it but to beware. Louis wants to make key units of the hero's of the lands, to strike deep in the Saffron lands, and gains support for this from Casimir Durand.

The group meets up at an inn with Conner Silverridge where he talks to Caden, about the conflict, and wanting to know what to do about Talion's not supporting his units physically. Conner brakes down the math and shows that his need for gold made him attack and destroy many. The lack of him following orders can be solved by being the person who confirms his kills. That power should be enough to rein him in.

Nolla Holt He also brings up Abdul Deiz de Requena who Conner recommends using to train a unit of knights that will avenge their losses in the next generation.

A Nighttime Delivery

Lyla Tarasovich-Talmert, sneaks out at night, to a local Caren. Leaving the air stone for Sazed. While she is out she sees a member of the Kayna in the distance, who shoots an arrow and defends her.

She returns to the group as they awake, with her personal guards worried as they lost her.

A Plan for War?

A trumpet call for the return of an imperial army unit (oddly does not have the tone of the unit they are with?)

Leon Blackwood & Peacekeeper Sofiya Baranova comes in to town, going though Tallion Ramirez camp they see that he has 2 prisoners. Kittisak & Rin of Clan Startail

Casimir Durand gets everyone together and gives what he feels is the breakdown for unit control for the next part of the war. While he is able to get out the information, a conversation moves the idea for a tactic that the pirates could join the saffrons and turns on them. Casimir Durand directly says that he does not trust the pirates enough for that.

The Prime Minister Speaks

Endulaudaus calls the leaders, and he gives the update with Leon Blackwood. It seems that elite Saffron troops attacked Leon Blackwood's unit killing everyone but him and the Peacekeeper Sofiya Baranova. Leon says that he has already interrogated the prisoners and that the Mikado are preparing to land in 90 days.

Casimir Durand brings it to light the idea that the crusade will break if mikado troops land in others domains. (This is not taken well even though everyone knows it)

The group then starts to go to the prison.

The Pirate Code!

Tallion Ramirez and his troops go and rush the prison while the meeting is going on, and free Rin of Clan Startail, for a boon in the future.

When the Silverridge group arrives at the prison, they see the guards killed but the saffron elite troop Kittisak is still locked up. While they are looking at him Carrick Silverridge sees he has a magical item on his back with his awakened eyes.

They learn that it's called the Blood of the Maw. When they extract it from him he bursts in to flame.

Off Scene

They leave and return to Connor who it is discovered that he had stolen back the magic gem he had given Endulaudaus, Caden Mattix gives the Blood of the Maw to Conner who put it in the same box as they prepare to march out.

Brothers from across the sea

Tallion Ramirez lands off the north river with 4 units of troops, after a days march he is captured by Douglas Sherman's troops and taken to Ashbourne. A Messager is sent to each of the armies, to have their representive come and decide on what they are going to do about the Ramirez troops, as they are a overt violation of the compact of not having troops cross over domains. The messenger gets to the Cadre, and they enter the town, seeing for the first time the Crimson Guard File:Crimson Guard.jpg|thumb|Crimson Guard, a unit of tested militants.

Entering the tower they see, Endulaudaus File:Endulaudaus.jpg|thumb, and Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich after some debate, Soverighn puts forth that they just take it to a vote. (knowing that if this takes too long to decide that Titus or his proxy may return.) The vote allows the troops to go in to House Silverridge units. The push for Tallion Ramirez's troops to be paid as mercenaries is off putting to many as they pass off that he has to talk to Connor about it.

Connor's Deal

After the group is taken before Connor (Who says he knows Tallion), he offers first access to the north river for trade, when the war is finished. And 10 gold for every unit that the pirates destroy more then 51% of.

Reviewing the troops

After reviewing the troops, the group comes across Titus Covinggard being attacked by a group of townsfolk. The Hungry Wolves clear out the conflict, without killing them. Titus, does not respect Casimir Durand But is still thankful.

Minor Updates

* Casimir Durand is not allowed to do summery judgement vs allied troops, they need to have any military crimes given to their banner leader.

* Tallion Ramirez talks to his troops and they have issues with fighting the poor but are willing to back the House Silverridge claims, as of now. But they would like a pardon so those that are too old to return to sea have a place to retire to.

* Amund Henge and Caden Mattix start insulting a group of House Montmier knights, the groups separate before there is bloodshed.

Updates on the War (From Sov, and Endulaudaus)

* Silverridge

** The Dragons when aggressed by the Saffrons, they started attacking their own troops.

* Covinggard

** They are tricked by a group of merchants that came to resupply them, who poisoned the army and then struck. This hits them very hard.

* Imperial Army (Under General Sherman)

** Peacekeepers find a obelisk, while trying to take it down it starts striking them down, they have losses but not catastrophic ones. 

** During an ambush, a group of calvery try to race down a unit of troops, to be struck from below by beetle units. Massive losses.

On the way to Orley, there is conflict in the streets where Shivon is protected by her new guard. Slurs and trash are thrown at her. She is taken to the fort and protected, while the rest of the group goes to military encampment.

At the military encampment, Casimir is ordered to take the Silverridge troops to route Saffron Troops. Overall it was a solid victory, with only the The Black Band disbanding having grown disillusioned by the nature of fighting the poor common man.

Archers for Breakfast

Penelope Durand had a breakfast with Lyla Tarasovich-Talmert where they talked about the conflicts with their family. They make a solid connection and then have a bit of a time with archery.

Visions

Carrick Silverridge has a vision.

''He is walking down a dirt road with city's people getting ready, on one side of the street the people are rats, and the other side they are pigeons. The rats start taking out a effigy of a person with red hair they have hung. He tries to stop it, and realizes he is in the body of a peacekeeper. Who is overwhelmed by the rats.''

Breakfast with the Southern Beauty

Carrick Silverridge dreses as a page and goes to send a message to the the Songprawati, on the way there he sees his father trying to learn how to ride a dragon, but he keeps going on his mission he invites Myo Songprawati to breakfast and talks to her on the way.

She thinks the vision has to do with Shivon Silverridge's rise in Whitestar how the people feel her becoming Dutchess. They decide they are going to talk to some Whitestar people before they arrive. Theobold Byrd is one of the leading nobles of Orley who will give them information.

Carrick Silverridge also talks to people about joining the Odd Fellow's but it ends with him having to learn more about them.

The Death of a Shadow

On the way to talk to Timothy Whitestar they see a group of guards investigating something. They go to the College of the Bards, and see that Clemente Avara is killed. He is hung and his hands have been melted to the bones. The Sun Whips are the people who are running the investigation. The players realize that this location is a set up.

Talk to Whitestar

When the group gets to Timothy Whitestar they are also given a concept that Archbaron Tristin Whitestar as he is losing being the heir might be also aggressive to Shivon Silverridge. They then get a letter for their entry in to Whitestar, and then hit the road to go to Orly.

While there they meet up with Kirill Orlov the peacekeeper from Carricks dream.

The Border

The party meets up with Theobold Byrd and are told the conflicts in Whitestar with the rise of Shivon and why some people accept it and others do not.

Visions

Carrick sees 3 islands, representing the 3 armies. He looks at "conners" island, and he sees that one part of conners troops will fail, and that if they are not reenforced they will bring down the rest of the army. Carrick tells Conner and they try to think of ways to overcome the vision of failure. There is a push to break up the Henge Calvary to be messengers but no final decision is made. The talk of changing military strategy, based on visions creates conflict with the Gold Blades units. They are eventually talked down.

The Odd Fellows

As a few days ago there was another vision based on the odd fellows, they decide to go and investigate them deeper. They learn that they are primarily a noble and merchant class group that investigates lost lore and power.

They go to the Odd Fellows, take the masks of Petitioners and enter they ask a member Awen Penhale

* Some players note that her name is the name of one of the reborn near windbreak!*

1. They don't openly support the Saffrons, but they do pay them for information that they feel might be lost as they are destroyed by the crusader armies.

3. They return the book they took, and conversations moves to Kanya magics, and she confirms many of the other information they have gathered, but there is also a way that guild masters have a way to take the energy away without adoption.
4. About Mikado curses, that the easiest ways to remove their curses is by a blessing from a Mikado, but also bellringer leadership have the power to remove the curses as well.
5. There is conversations about Carrick joining the Odd Fellows, and he takes a coin representing that he has been vetted but he would have to come later when he has made a final choice.

They then leave as Carrick reads a book about the powers used by the tested to go to other planets.

While they are waiting, They meet Eanulf of Dorhaven who is sheriff of Dorhaven, he is here with this father because they are sending a letter to his daughter who is a Saffron General.

They also hear, Sir Mathias Ackeret asking for the identifying of Great Sword of Götz they are told that it is a old sword of royalty by the House of Stone.

The Ambush

As the characters attempt to negotiate, Carrick enters a fit, conversation breaks down and a fight ensues. Carrick and Shivon are shot and are bleeding as the group fights back. They eventually overcome the attackers and take their leader as a prisoner.

Noteworthy events

* Carricks hair burst in to fire and made the saffron troops glow?

* A huge war beetle came from the ground and while it was killed it had some mysterious glowing blood

* a few people heard the bells but did not tell the others.

Medical Attention

They spend a day making sure their wounds are all healed before starting to question their prisoner.

How to ask a question?

Casimir tries to torturer answers out of the man, who hands they have already cut off. But finds little success. Caden takes the group aside and tells those who had not experinced what they had heard of other saffron people.

* They feel that they will change the views of the country, even if they lose this war.

* They felt the death of the PC's that the war's armies would have broken up.

* He came from Hexham where his family was abused by the bellringers.

When Timmothy and Conner come in,

* They learn that there is a fault in Wargem's walls that the Saffrons where going to destroy.

* At handfasted there is a storehouse of weapons.

* At Ganymene there are spies in General Sermamans court that is given military secrets to the safforns.

Visions of the Bellringer

Carrick has a vision where he walks thought he mist and sees 3 figures he walks to the right, and sees a man with a large bell weapon. He tells him that he will help him see his destiny (and Carrick gets rerolls for the next 2 visions)

He then goes towards the middle figure, and he sees a saffron society priest that is almost a corpse and Carrick wakes up.

Carricks right eye now glows in the darkness and he can not see out of that eye.

Insults for breakfast

Soverighn & Lyla start talking to people but they are "Insulted" by Casimir, as he wants to find a "true priest" to talk about Carrick's vision. Soverighn Lyla storm out.

Looking for Knowledge

Most of the party goes out to find a tested but finds a Bellringer Priest first. He says the vision is that of the military side of the Bellinger, and it is a good omen that Carrick will do good in the upcoming war.

As they are leaving Sysid tries to get the rock back again, empowering his magics by destroying a belltower, he again is thwarted. Casimir finds Louis Covenguard, and asks him to arrest him, and Louis tells him that vandalism is not in his preview.

Insults for lunch

As the party reunites Lyla tells the group about the meeting with Samson Krieg, as everyone returns it turns in to an argument, wher Casimir will not relent and support what he sees as open treachery. As the conflict gets worse Connor and Rory comes in, and calms the group down by pushing Casimir, to understand that he needs to support the family.

The Meeting

As the armies march, and the group goes to the meeting, they come to a grove in the fog that reminds Carrick of his vision.

With Caden Mattix wounded from the roadhouse, they ask Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich for help finding a doctor. He sends Carlos Falks

Thinking that they may need him in the future, they decide to go have a meeting with Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich to acquire him.

Talk with Whitestar

Shivon Silverridge goes to talk to Timothy Whitestar, Shivon is taken first for measurements for clothing for when she is Dutchess.

Timothy Whitestar & Shivon Silverridge talk about the issue of the Saffron Society in Whitestar and he feels that it is the support of a "middle class" that has allowed the Saffron Society to grow in his domain. While Shivon thinks that it is a play of the Rivers, Timothy feels that it is more likley a House Covinggard play. He also feels that the push of the Saffron Society because of Silverridge nearly martial law in their domain. He also talks about his education and how he was not part of Connor Silverridge's social group, that his social group was Titus Covinggard & Charles Montmier.

River Lunch

With a river lunch with Lyla Silverridge, Casimir Ramirez, Penelope Durand & Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich. Soverighn and Casimir bury the hatchet and connect in their desire to help their family. Soverighn talks about the lung disease that happens in House Tarasovich and that is why they have Carlos Falks but he is willing to give him up for the time of the war to make sure that people are safe after the attacks. Soverighn also asks Casimir if he wants to know more about the Pells faith and he says no thank you.

Lyla Silverridge, stays back to ask Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich if there is anything she can help with. He says that he was asked to meet with Samson Kreig leader of the Saffron Society about parlaying about non combatants. Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich does not know if it's a trap or if it real. Lyla says that she will bring the party to the event to make sure they are safe.

The Dream of other worlds

Carrick Silverridge has a vision.

A grapefull of Knowledge

They meet up with Juan Diego as they ask him about the portal, he says instead that one can imagine the amount of magic it would take to travel to other worlds, the energy of all one's possible children might be the energy to power that.

The group then realises that the tested have traveled to other parts of Oh.

Military Talk

There was some talk on who would do what in what part of the war, and Carrick Silverridge stands his ground and will be fighting on the field.

Seeing Parents off

Shivon Silverridge goes to see her mother off, and asks her if the Kanya issue might be because of someone that she might have killed in her past? Ursla Silverridge neé Henge says that while she did have a problematic youth she feels it was an attack on the generation before such as Malcom Silverridge. When she returns, Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich asks if the party will come with him to a high class meal, but he is vague about the people attending.

Conversations with the older generation

Shivon Silverridge tries to talk to Conner Silverridge to deal with the Kanya issue and Conner clearly says we can't do anything about it until after the war and then after the war she will have all the power in the east to deal with it.

Lyla Silverridge talks to her father Rory Silverridge to deal with a conflict of house guards, brining to a sharp forfont that she is now a Tarasovich. on the way to the meal Shivon Silverridge also invites Timothy White-star to the event.

The Meal

The meal is held at Aldo a unique culinary experience. As the party comes, also Sarah Tarasovich is in attendance. First Course

A esten girl woman comes with a frozen tomato, these have been injected with a tomato sorbet.

Second Course

A saltblood woman comes with a roasted with oranges a flying fish from the kingfisher Isle. (she bows before Carrick and he responds graciously)

Third Course

A covenguard woman comes with a hair leg with rosemary from covenguard.

Fourth Course

The group is warned not to take the next course casually, and to leave if they don't want to participate. Everyone thinks its just a build up.

A mikado woman is brought in who is part octopus and people realize they are going to eat her, many of the party reacts poorly, as only Clemente Avara speaks saltblood and understands that this is a religious situation for her. Not everyone eats, but those that do find that they are able to change reality for a small period of time, as the blessings of the worm flow though them.

At the meal

The purpose of the meal was to threaded Dimas De La Vega to abandon Selḗnē or face the wraith of the east, and he does not have even support at home because Sarah is going to become Duchess Bellkind.

Timothy White-star is amazed by the meal, and also explains a vaster concept of faith to Shivon Silverridge basically everything is real, but only Bellringers, are forward moving. Everyone else is hanging on to the past incarnations of ௫.

There is a standoff between, Casimir Ramirez and Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich about the mikado ritual. Soverighn stands his ground, and is pulled away by Layla to not escalate it further.

The Road House

Shivon, Caden, Casimir and Clemente decide to take palanquins, to the roadhouse. When they arrive they see there is a party going on inside. Clemente sneaks in and then in a few moments realizes that everyone is wearing masks but him? He tries to fast talk he way out but fails, and makes a run for it. Caden holds the line as the party runs, and he is stabbed by multiple people, realizing that this is a saffron society group that has killed nobles. While he is being over run, the power of his shadow jumper spear activates and throws him away from the fight as the whole party makes it to the palanquins and escapes.

In the morning Lyla Silverridge is sent a letter from Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich asking her to prepare for the wedding, a letter is also sent to Rory Silverridge. As they are preparing for the wedding Ridi Onarus is caught by house guards, with a package. He gives it to Caden Mattix. Inside is armor of the seat of Selḗnē

Looking for the tattooed men

Sheamus Ramirez finds a blacksmith that gives him a location in a road house where he knows many people who marked. The party is planning on going there.

Gifts are not always wanted

The party tries to tell Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich that the Kayna that really wants her. They don't feel they can wait that long, and they were told that House Thaolorin would have a way to break the power over her. He also says only in ensten that he used them to kill the Duke and Duchess of Bellkind

Return of Clemente Avara

Clemente Avara, returns and notes the wounds on Casimir, he hears the story and Lyla checks the secret passage and sees that it is now protected by House Tarasovich troops. They also update him about Sazed.

The party goes first to the Almern camp to talk to the Tested Juan Diego they inform the party that he is at the encampment of tested nearer the city.

They asked about Sazed he tells them that he was from Talmert domain, but captured by the Bellkind and was tortured. Then was rescued by Rhys Bennet when he was on a diplomatic mission. If he is Hristos Remiadis Layla's old childhood friend.

Casimir Ramirez brings up that Taunya Bennet asked for 5 dead tested. They act like she is just a murder not aggressive to the Tested in general.

He will not give advice on House Montmier because of his ties to his own house.

Shivon asks for advice on how to lead Whitestar, He says that she must be a person of her own. That if she is to much of a unit they will not deal.

He tells the group that they might want to talk to the Ematha Nolla Holt she was the prime opposition to Endulaudaus becoming King of the Bells

They are asked why Carrick Silverridge is being allowed to marry in to the House Songprawati

Nolla Holt

They are taken to a dark room, where she is working on dissecting a shadow creature, she also has glowing green eyes in the dark. After a while the conversation moves to a lit library.

She first talks about how the Ferdors people, their livelihood was so focused on raiding that Timothy White-Star hurt many people while still making the lands rich.

This also is why the saffron society is so strong in Whitestar.

She also brings up that we can't be "unloyal" to the rivers as a majority of our wealth and power is 1 days ride from the imperial domain.

She also explains the lay lines, being collectors of magic energy, that where mostly broken in the north, and that the Bellkind are using to make an avatar of the bellringer.

On this day the 23rd day of Rainmarrow three great dukes agree to the following.

The letter seems to imply though that Sir Hans Rhienheart's secret is not publicly known and he still openly supports House Silverridge.

Meeting with Titus

Casimir Ramirez meets with Duke Titus Covinggard who is prepping his troops for practice. After a friendly conversation and some coffee, Titus Covinggard notes

That Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich will be taking one of his captain's spots with Baron Gorshi Kulak taking the other.

That the Saffron Society even though they don't have much calvary they have beaten back General Douglas Sherman's heavily mounted troops with traps and ambushes in the woods.

Relationship Talk 

The conversation goes deeper into who they want to marry and why. Building the plans on who they will talk to ending with Shivon Silverridge revealing that she wanted to woo, Duke Timothy Whitestar.

They will then go and talk to Duke Conner Silverridge & Rory Silverridge after they are given the updates, they note that there is a rumor that Titus Covinggard killed his wife Liza Covinggard. 

When the talk goes to Taunya Bennet they recommend that Casimir Ramirez sneak in and attack her father, demanding her hand. But the push seems more extreme then Casimir Ramirez is willing to do. His second choice Penelope Durand who wants them to kill Timoté Durand they are working on getting a legal solution or even a duel? 

Shivon Silverridge tells the leadership, about Duke Timothy Whitestar. Conner Silverridge says that he might have to give her the House Henge domains to take with her, in exchange for her to unite the east. 

Caden Mattix tells people that he wants to marry a Saffron Isle noble, to unite the seas.

Talk with Whitestar

Shivon Silverridge & Lyla Silverridge go to the basement museum of Mistwick and meet with Timothy Whitestar & Daniel Whitestar. After talking about the art and showing an old Ferdors rune wall that glows, Shivon Silverridge peposes to Timothy Whitestar he first offers to pay her to pull back her proposal feeling that it has to be to manipulate him not because she has any fond feeling for him. She convinces him that she truly wants to rule in the House Henge way. He says he will have people investigate the match and get back to her.

Ride with the Dark Lady

Casimir Ramirez takes a ride with Taunya Bennet and proposes they become a match, she says if he is serious that he should kill and take the rings of 5 tested to show his determination for this match. This bloodthirsty retort sours Casimir Ramirez. But he does learn that a masked tested works for the Red Spot and should not be touched.

The Honor of the Sword

Lyla Silverridge goes to meet with Luis Covinggard and is stopped by his guards who inquire why she is talking and learn that it is personal not that she is trying to talk about the death of Paz Rodrigo. When she gets in and starts talking the conversation goes to matches that he has been offered and he has turned them down. 

He goes in to the conversation of his oaths and his loyalty, not that he is a blind soldier. He wants her to decide that if being with him is worth if he can't do anything for her? Also he gives the information that a tested in house gabu has on him the information of why the Bellkind invaded Selḗnē

The Walls Have Ears

They call in the spymaster Terresa Wycliff who says that she has the information that will end the the relationship chances with Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich & Olivia Pearstone, That Olivia has already made a choice Tristin Whitestar. 

While they are talking they hear a footstep in the secret passage. They rush the passage, and while Lyla Silverridge reaches out and grabs the cloak of the spy, he falls though the stone floors using ancient stone magics. The cloak and mask are those of Sazed.

Shopping trip

Carrick Silverridge, Caden Mattix, Casimir Ramirez Go shopping and buy a model boat with origami flowers for a return gift.

Lyla Silverridge talks to Lady Emma Lemyers, about the idea of her marrying Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich and wants to get permission from Duchess Mercy Talmert. Emma Lemyers feels that she would have to bend the knee to House Talmert to get such permission but it would be offered.

Deals in Deals

They then go to House Durand's rooms and they are asked to give their weapons up, They are ordered by Peacekeeper Brice Jean Paul to give up their weapons and they eventually do. When they meet up with Baroness Penelope Durand she shows support for the cadre and after the conversations continue she asks Peacekeeper Brice Jean Paul to leave the room.

She then asks the cadre to kill her uncle Timoté Durand who is trying to kill her. The cadre supports the killing and then leave her saying they will decide on if they will take the job.

Wild Oats

When the Cadre returns from the High Tea, the male members decide they will take Carrick Silverridge to a local brothel. Realizing their finances are not what they would hope them to be, they ask Duke Conner Silverridge to aid them, he supports them and tells them that Doamna Bree Liban will take them to the brothel as she has a friend who runs it.

When they arrive to the riverboat, she introduces them to Lady Anne the owner. She gets them set up, and as everyone participates, Casimir Ramirez stays longer and makes a contact with a covenguard girl named Clarise.

Enisen Justice

Lyla Silverridge sneaks off to go and talk to Dutchess Mercy Talmert to try to find out if she set up the person to take the fall for her in killing General Paz Rodrego. Mercy says she did not pay him or was he guilty of something what she did pay is the people who could have freed him, she took away that chance from him. Lyla starting to understand the brutality of the world they are in accepts Mercy's statement and returns moments before the boys come home.

Damsel In Distress

The next morning before Casimir Ramirez returns they hear a fight in the hallway, when they get out they see a man Dennis Durand being pulled away by Peacekeeper Noel Lombardo and castle guards. Lyla Silverridge is able to get the story out of Noel, that Dennis tried to kill his cousin, for his father who there is a disagreement on who should hold House Durand's domains.

Baroness Penelope Durand who is wounded is brought in by House Silverridge and they tend her wounds. They remark how they are flush with family and how regretful, Penelope Durand does not have any to come to her aid.

Plans upon Plans

With Casimir Ramirez's return, They all meet with Duke Conner Silverridge and he says the next problem at hand is they need to make sure to have one of the 3 General titles offered for this crusade.

Casimir Ramirez he plans to put in charge of the House Silverridge troops.

Caden Mattix & Lyla Silverridge He is going to want to run individual units to make attacks on the Saffron's

He notes that he is going to be meeting with Endulaudaus to before the meeting and try to get him on his side, the players decide to go with him.

Backroom Deals

They go to the halls of the tested and are met by Learned Lady Agnes Martain who entertains them for a moment while Endulaudaus finishes his next meeting, While they do Lyla Silverridge remarks that their carpet has sigils on it that remind her of the Enisen Kings lay lines, she does not hide it but does not elaborate.

They are brought in to meet with Endulaudaus & Walsink a member of the privy council.

As they leave they see the next group of guards are House Tarasovich in House Covinggard uniforms.

The cadre return and talk about marriage choices and how they will control the east.

Nilo Hubart fight, with Nilo beating Hubart easily (not because of skill more because Hubart slipped). They laugh it off as good friends though. After that Otto Kungigude comes to the party thinking they are Pearstone Mercenaries. After he learns of their noble titles, they start talking but before the conversation can get much deeper Peacekeeper's come lead by Louis Covinggard they arrest Otto Kungigude for the death of General Paz Rodrego. They say that there are witnesses that saw him out of House Graisti doman during the fog attack by the Saffron Society. They ask him to give up his sword and he elects to give it to Casimir Ramirez as he was a honorable man who fought in the Bellringer Crusade.

Secrets in Secrets

For those who don't go to review the troops they stay with Thomas Hofer and talk about spy networks. He says that during his youth he had joined the Tested but left after he learned of a secret society called the Band of the Quill he left the Tested and took over that group to become his spy network. He also makes vague comments about how the Tested are a much darker group, with there power over the country, and that there is some dark magics happening inside of them. When Shivon Silverridge makes comment about trying to make her own spy network, Thomas Hofer says that Terresa Wycliff is invited to a meeting she might want to attend.

The Grand Tournament

For House Silverridge Caden Mattix Casimir Ramirez decide to compete. Sheamus Ramirez sneaks around at steals 130 silver from the crowd.

Casimir Ramirez is put up a young knight of House Covinggard. While they lay a few hits, the last hit knocks Casimir Ramirez off his horse, as he is drug hitting the posts, he is knocked out and taken to medical care.

Caden Mattix

Caden Mattix wins his first round vs a knight from House Polonsky, knocking him off his horse on the second bout. His next foe his the scion of House Tarasovich Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich. They both say on their horses, but Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich's strike was more true. Caden Mattix relents to the decision.

After the game - Shivon Talks To Henge and Gratisi

Talking to Amund Henge

After the events of the tea, Shivon went to find her cousin, Amund Henge, regarding the offer of marriage for his sister, Ingrid, from House Ceanadach. Amund is at first concerned that this could be problematic, as Connor may go to war against White Star, and this would put Ingrid in a position of being married into a duchy that her family would be at war with. However, this potential marriage would take care of the debt that the Henges owes to the imperial bank. It could be paid back, in theory, but it won't be quick and easy. Amund has not problem with the introduction between his sister and House Ceanadach. Amund confides in Shivon that Baron Shaun Henge, wants his children engaged by the end of the Saffron War.

Shivon pressed Amund on his choice of bride, and he mentioned the possibility of giving up his position as heir and marrying into more prominent houses among the Rivers' houses, perhaps Penelope Duran or Alissa Thorne. He feels they would be better for the Henge family long term, building strong connections to the imperial house. In doing so, he could marry into a place needing a current leader and can act politically now, rather wait for his father to die and himself to inherit. Amund admits to wanting some influence rather than wait to have to deal with someone else's decisions. Shivon is worried as she is convinced that there is going to be conflict among the Rivers houses, and that Amund would get swept up in that. She argues he would be swept up in circumstances not dissimilar than Ingrid's proposed marriage, but he feels it is worth it as he is more political savvy and can make better decisions for himself. He argues that with the Saffron War, this will make alliances during the war that will make the situation untenable after. Shivon promises to keep her eyes and ears out on Penelope and Alissa on behalf of Amund, and he will send a letter back home to Ingrid on the marriage suitor. If they didn't have the worries that they had, she would be interested in a Feydor marriage. If Baron Shaun feels that Connor won't stab them in the back over it, Amund thinks that Shaun would support it.

Shivon mentions meeting his Kulik uncle, and Amund admits his mother has not spoken to him since the incident that ended with their brother's death. They discuss Carrick's potential marriage to Myo and concerns over the Ramirez habit of sleeping with everything that moves, and Shivon's worries about Myo would be offended by his unfaithfulness and what that could mean politically. This leads to a discussion of the dowery. Amund argues they Sangrapati will offer two ships to add to the fleet for protection against Montimier and the respectability of their house after their daughter marries into the Mikado Empire.

Amund does not believe that the Montimier can effectively go up against the Almerin, despite Shivon having heard they could. Amund argues their horses will fail there, and would only be able to conquer the northern half, and get the empire to sign off on the ceding of it in a peace treaty. Shivon argues the Talmerts wouldn't have to worry about that, because they can counter the bog, but Amund argues that they still can't stop the dragons. Shivon feels that the Duchesse Mercy is angling for other deals, the Montimiers are just the first ones to bite. Amund brings up that House Bennett has an eligible daughter, Taunya Bennett, an illegitimate child of Rhys' who he had legitimized. She serves as a diplomat in Pearstone, and Lucy Montimier may be using her to make backroom deals with Olivia Pearstone. Shivon is interested in tracking her down.

Amund asked Shivon about the whereabouts of Cynog Derth and the explanation to his whereabouts. He has heard rumors from the Derth troops that Cynog was sent away for doing something despicable when there were non-family members about. The Derths are grumbling about it among themselves and have made comment that the Derth troops have been put under Henge command. Cynog was sent to represent their people, and now they have no representation. They are still loyal to Duke Connor and are still standing under Amund, but he fears that if they get decimated in the war with the Saffrons, they will blame it on Cynog's perceived snub and disgrace, especially on the heels of his reunification with family. Shivon refuted these rumors, stating that out of an abundance of caution, Connor sent Cynog back to Windbreak to help in the protection of the keep, but did not explain why he was sent back.

Shivon brought her discomfort with the "princess of the east" moniker used by other houses. Amund notes it is because while some can question Connor's legitimacy, and others the Henge legitimacy, no one can question Shivon as being a descendant from both lines. She is more worried because it wasn't just Carrick who was there, but Caden and Casimir, Connor's illegitimate sons. Amund waves it off as being a title similar to the Estin. These are people who had great respect for the Henge side of the family. Shivon still feels that this is a sticky situation. Amund says that they are now seven generations removed from the Ramirez actions and changed the East drastically, but people remember the old things. They hear of Shivon with her mixed heritage, they remember the past. And Kincaid is a calm, respectful, kind man, and thus see Shivon as a throwback to a kinder, simpler, more genteel age. Amund suggests a Pearstone baronial house, so she can have a toe in every country, as he knows Shivon wants to be in the thick of things.

Amund is willing to consider other offers, and Shivon is willing to keep an ear to the ground. Amund finds it interesting that Connor would be so accepting of a marriage that would bring him back into contact with the Mikado, when the Mikado nearly killed him before. Shivon notes this but leaves Amund to his letter writing.

Talking to Thomas Hofer

Thomas Hofer was deep in research when Shivon finds him. She wanted to speak alone with him without Carrick there. Hofer is skeptical of the peace and togetherness that Carrick espoused when they met, and Shivon states that while she loves her cousin dearly, she is more of a realist than that. Carrick is sixteen and sheltered, and has idealistic impressions. Hofer believes it is Connor telling Carrick for sixteen years not to tell anyone what he is thinking. Shivon argues Carrick is the heir to the house and has to put the best foot forward, while Shivon is the heir to no house and doesn't have to worry about that. Hofer argues that the best foot forward would be for Carrick to remind people that their ability to have fast travel and trade lies in his hands at one end of the Great Canal, but Shivon argues Carrick does not have that personality yet.

Hofer brings up the fact that Carrick's relationship with the Sangrapati aligns him with the anti-Bell Ringer faction. Shivon is unwilling to speak ill against her cousin, but notes that she is coming to Hofer because Carrick is not as forthcoming as he could have been. Hofer says that there will be turnover in the east, and without the sealing of the canal there could be conflicts in the war. Gratzi wants to know where the tide is going so they could make a decision on who they support. Carrick's waffling tells them that he doesn't want their support. Hofer suspects that Carrick was sent to say nothing makes him worry about Connor and his agenda. Shivon says she is there to say something, and asks what reassurance he wants. Hofer argues that Silverridge can have aggression on three, if not four powers the minute Samson Krieg is dead. Gratzi wants to make sure they are not aligned with someone that Silverridge is against, as this could disrupt trade on the canal.

The Gratzi feel the tested power will be challenged and they are worried that the classic treaties will be broken. That means that they will either have to support the Tested power block and the Rivers Empire or work quickly to secure their place in a new regime. Rumor has it that Silverridge would have already marched on Bellkind if we were next to it. Shivon admits that there is affection between Silverridge and Almera, and respect to Talmert. If these classic treaties break, the Gratzi may consider an alliance between the Silverridges and Talmerts on the Bellkind lands in exchange for an equal division between Gratzi and Talmert, giving Gratzi what they used to have and expanding Talmert holdings. This would give the peace that the Talmert want and Lyla would gain her barony. The Talmert cannot siege cities, but Gratzi could provide them the siege capabilities they need on the cities there. Hofer states that Covinguard has given the impression that if there was no Tested bureaucracy in the Rivers domain, their interest would be north and not south, so they wouldn't interfere. But the Gratzi will not work against the classic treated while the Rivers stand. This would split the canal in three, the Gratzi, the Silverridges, and Pearstone in the middle.

Hofer is suspicious of Andalusias coming to an event the day after he's been stabbed shows even more that he has to make an appearance. Shivon notes that if he didn't people would question the strength of the bureaucracy. She asks Hofer about the Pels, and gains more information out of him about them, that they know how to use the Shadow and the Silence and were used by the Sedai in their wars against the Estin. They were declared heretical and run out of the faith. Shivon suggests that they couldn't possibly be common now at days (even though she knows they are out there), and Hofer says that it was not an attack as much as it was a message and signal out there to other Pel supporters, a code to initiate another attack on the Prime Minister. Shivon asks if he thought it was perhaps Tested propaganda against the Saffrons, but Hofer thinks that would only muddy the water, and maintains it is a signal for the Pels to activate their cells. Shivon asks him what he thought the fall out would be if there was another attack. Hofer says that if the Prime Minister is killed, very little will happen, but if they wanted him killed, they would have blown up his house, not have a group of assassins come, stab him, and leave while he has armed guards. He guesses that the tipping point is the killing of Samson Krieg in captivity. People will start suspecting each other and turn on one another, and initiate actions in the capital. Shivon notes that the army will be divided between Sherman, Connor, and likely Covingard, which will pit the three generals against each other.

Hofer points out that White Star's new diplomatic methods have turned it into a Saffron haven. He turned them from warriors fighting snow beasts into bankers, traders, and diplomats, weakening the martial nature of his country, allowing outlaws to hide there. Shivon argues that a country doesn't have to be weakened with these things there, but Timothy has allowed these things to happen. There is a great deal of power to be had when one is holding the financial purse strings.

Hofer notes that Connor keeps interesting friends. For a man who disdains book learning in his own son, Connor has not let his own education in Ice Haven go to waste. Hofer does not discount the weight of Silverridge. Covingard feel they cannot lose, thus have already begun to lose. Talmert longs to regain a past that is gone. He feels Lucy Montmier is a threat, as she has the hunger of someone who has known they can miss a meal. The Rivers won't leave the bathhouses even to watch the world burn.

Hofer and Shivon agree that they are worried about Francis River's no longer being young and his children who are very young, and a bureaucracy who are going to fight each other to have control over a child emperor, leading to bureaucrats being slaughtered in the middle. Hofer believes the Tested have made a plan for this, at least one for if they can take the country, and one if they cannot. Where will the Peacekeepers in all of this?

Shivon informs Conner of all of her conversations and the issues that have come out of them.

The Mist brings a old family member

After the attack, the cadre leaves the camp to investigate other attackers, before they can leave. Casimir Ramirez leaves his ship coming from the crusades, as he finds the encampment of House Silverridge and then is taken before Connor Silverrige after a bit of conversation they realize that he is one of Connor Silverrige's children.

After a bit of conversation he joins with the party to investigate the area attacked.

Attack on the King of Bells

They see groups of troops going to the King of Bells Endulaudaus, as they arrive they see that he has been attacked with of the attackers killed and another escaped. After some investigation they seem to think that the killers are likely House Tarasovich's Shadow walkers.

They also notice that the tested know, that one of the houses in attendance are likely House Sedi Supporters, and thus must be stopped.

Meeting with the Pale Walkers

After that the party goes to House Talmert's encampment and meet with Dutchess Mercy Talmert she offers to work with them, if the offer is good but the players do not offer her anything yet. They are keeping their options open at least until troops march.

Carrick Silverridge goes to talk to Lady Myo Songprawati and after some small talk (where she notes the Saffron's have stolen 5 dragons) she says that her mother is asking her to meet other suitor's, Carrick Silverridge is unwilling to give a commitment. She says she will tell him before she actually marries anyone.

Meeting with the Last of the Houses

House Whitestar House Ceanadch

They meet with Duke Timothy White-Star and socially deal well with him and then he brings up that one of his banners (Setanta Ceanadach) has a desire to marry Ingrid Henge, if this is matched by the parents, he will pay off the debts of House Henge.

Also he writes that Fiona Silveroak is requesting to know if Caden Maddix has any interest in her.

A old war friend Quintin talks to Casimir Ramirez and they reestablish their relationship.

House Graisti House Lombardo

As they had met, Peacekeeper Noel Lombardo she greets them and has them meet Sir Matteo Lombardo who even though with his low title, tries his best to be supportive of the party.

Duke Enzo Graisti meets with them giving Carrick Silverridge an imperial saber from the House Sedi's 5th Emperor. The Sword of Athos. He offers to have the cadre come to a more private dinner, that the players go to with the next game starting.

Outcast? or Other? Brothers Divided

Lyla Silverridge, tells the cadre that she had a good conversation with House Talmert. As they are talking a knight stands his waiting for the party to acknowledge him. Sir Vlad Becker is brought forward and asks if Caden Mattix would be willing to talk to the nobles of House Montmier.

Cléménte Arava sneaks over to the House Bennet area, and pretends to be the cupbearer. He then hears a few bits of information.

They are using secret codes (directly to House Pearstone

They are somehow knowledgeable of the bandit raids on the nobles going on the roads

That they also change places with one another.

Caden Mattix goes over to the Duke Charles Montmier Duchess Lucy Montmier they offer him

To be named a Knight of House Bennet

They are willing to give an oath that he will never have to work vs his family

That if expansion comes they will give him a Barony of Handfasted.

Flowers for Blunt Conversations

The cadre, on their way to House Montmier are met, House Upperton meets them first. Baroness Xena Upperton, Sir Peter Upperton, Lady Clarissa Upperton meets with them as they wait. The impression goes well, Them talking about the Tested's influence on the Empire saying that they are basically running the country. They are reminded of the Pact of Gold where the tested were given power over the bureaucracy. 

Then with Xena Upperton pushing on Lyla Silverridge that the attack on Selḗnē.

They then meet with Duke Charles Montmier Duchess Lucy Montmier. The Duchess is very charming with everyone, telling the girls that she has some fine dresses and that she will invite them to a high tea with Duchess Oliva Pearlstone.

Duke Charles Montmier realizes that Cléménte Arava has a fake identity, but it is covered up, That he works for the Pomegranate Seeds. Conversation then turns quickly, to the war.

*He offers to defend House Silverridge in an attack on Northton to take the northern rivers.

*In exchange that he will not attack House Montmier if they attacked House Almirn

*They imply that House Talmart will support the war, as well as they say they have a way to deal with the Dragon Riders

The Yellow Fog

They meet in a private room to have give the update, of Caden Mattix being given an offer to join House Montmier. While that is happening.

A yellow fog starts to roll in as the troops morale begins to waiver, the cadre races to the House Silverridge Camp. They are met by Sir Rory Silverridge who takes them in, with an offer from the House Talmert asking if Lyla Silverridge will aid them in assassinating General Paz Rodrego.

The party decides to split, with Shivon Silverridge Carrick Silverridge staying behind as they go forward. Following the magic stone Lyla Silverridge meets up with a group of House Thalorin Water knights.

They take the party though the waters to Paz Rodrego's camp. Cléménte Arava Sneaks up and takes out the first guards, as they then break in to the tent, and take out the rest of them. With Lyla Silverridge killing Paz Rodrego. One of the Water knights was killed. But they were able to escape. Just as the bellringer priests were able to break the fog. They also learned that the castle was attacked by having tornados drop rocks on the castle.

Informing Lyla

They give her the information about Cléménte Arava and that fact that the Kanya and the nature of who else might be a member. As they finish Lady Ellen Butler arrives and asks to speak to Conner Silverridge they delay her long enough so they learn that she is their cousin. They learn of Conner Silverridge's past and gets connected to her. They are to go to the crossroads and meet Baron Steven Butler.

On the Road

Conner Silverridge lets the party leave early to meet Steven Butler but on the road, they are shot at. Lyla Silverridge in an amazing act shoots the arrow out of the air, catches it and then fires it at the bandits who attacked them. Not wanting to deal with them they ride on until they meet Baron Steven Butler and a few troops he escorts them to Mistwick

Mistwick

When they arrive they check their rooms in the castle, and find one of them has a secret passage, it seems to lead up to a tower but in all likelihood is connected to other rooms. They bar it after they find it so others can not use it.

The Astral World

While Carrick Silverridge is sleeping he finds he can leave his body and sees there is a glowing light coming from the tested hall in Mistwick in following the light he looks in and sees Lady Agnes Martain and then King of Bells Endulaudaus whom the light is coming from. He awakes to have one of his eyes bleeding and he is loosing vision in that eye.

The Breakfast Hall

After sleeping and getting cleaned up they decide to go to the breakfast hall, and meet with 2 of the 3 groups there.

Covenguard

House Kulak originally block them from going to the Duke, but Shivon Silverridge notes how they are related though the House Henge and it opens them up to the Duke Titus Covinggard he gives Carrick Silverridge a drink of fermented yak milk called Kumis. He is effected but not enough to lose control. They also make note to House Tarasovich who they had met before.

Talmert

Only Lyla Silverridge meets with them and first comes up to her uncle Errol Talmart who greets her warmly, and then introduces her to Diplomat Emma Lemyers who bows before her giving her the recognition of being the Baroness of Selḗnē. After they bond she also tells her that they are planning to assassinate General Paz Rodgreo and gives her a signal to call killers if she can get him alone.

Investing in the Dark

Conner Silverridge Sends a page to call Caden Mattix Carrick Silverridge. They follow the page in to the city of Greenmarble in this meeting he tells them that he has hired Cléménte Arava to protect Shivon Silverridge and kill the Dark Hunter. They meet Cléménte Arava who is a member of the Sicarius and prepare an identity for him as a Sheamus Ramirez.

Road to Butterhill

They hear movement in the camp and see that House Almirn is breaking camp. Lady Myo Songprawati tells the party that palanquins are coming from Mistwick and that the Almirn is breaking camp to double time with the palanquins. Carrick Silverridge decides to talk to the members of House Bellkind, started with the Learned Juan Diego, they pick up a few books, but are encouraged to talk to a higher ranking noble. So they meet Count Stuart Gambu. He says that the members of House Bellkind do not need palanquins and will be stay with the troops.

Caden Mattix Carrick Silverridge give Conner Silverridge an update and he decides to split House Silverrige troops to not have either fully alone.

Arrival at Butterhill

When they arrive at Butterhill the ruling house of Butterhill greets them at the gates.

Meeting the Odd Fellow's

They come to a house with a symbol of a raven with an arrow across it. After guessing the secret code, they get access. When they get there they have to put their weapons in a trunk and mask themselves, there are 2 masks one for "Petitioners" and one for "Members" they take the red masks of "Petitioners" and in looking around 

Carrick Silverridge takes a bite of dried fruit.

Cléménte Arava finds a book that seems to be exactly what they are looking for Shadow Weapons of the Kanya‎

They leave after a small conversation and an offer to see something special at dawn, they realize that Carrick Silverridge is the first son of a noble family.

Learning the Secrets of the Dark Hunter

In reading the book, they learn the secrets of the Kanya, and catch up to Shivon Silverridge and with her information realize that she was likely meant to be recruited in to the Kanya and more of a discovery, That Sir Hans Rhienheart may already be a blooded member of the Kanya. They Run to Conner Silverridg to tell him that Windbreak is being guarded by a spy.

Awaking Connor

When they get to Conner Silverridg's inn, they are stopped by Silverridge Guards. Carrick Silverridge pushes his way though, and obviously was in a moment with Doamna Bree Liban. During the meeting they express everything that has happened Conner Silverridg tells the group that they got the book from is called Odd Fellow's, He seems to be very worried that they have done something with the group, such as eating, the conversation moves on to the fear that Baronet Peter McBavo may also be part of the cult with Hans Rhienheart. Conner Silverridg as Peter McBavo is with the army has him called to the room. Conor pretends to be drunk, and challenging Peter McBavo to a arm wrestling challenge. Showing that Peter McBavo does not have a tattoo. (As a random note, Conor wins) After he leaves Conner Silverridg declares that he will send Cynog Derth with a group of mercenaries back to Windbreak to watch Sir Hans Rhienheart to protect their home. Carrick Silverridge explains that none of this can be public or it will destroy the house, as we enter the diplomatic meetings.

Day 1

Vision

Carrick Silverridge has a vision: Multiple green pillars coming from the ground with men standing on them, They resonate with a sound that has a harmony. Then a huge serpent moves down the road.

The March stars

Caden Mattix tells Carrick Silverridge That his father wants him to research the faith. They are reminded that magic will strike the dead before it strikes the living.

Conversations on Marriage

Shivon Silverridge says that she talked to Terresa Wycliff about what would be the best sutors. She comes up with a plan of her marrying Duke Timothy Whitestar and Lyla Silverridge marrying in to Montmier. Caden Mattix is more worried about the marriage of House Songprawati and the Mikado Empire. Then there is an idea of Cynog Derth marrying Duchess Oliva Pearlstone.

Plan on the Ambush on Ganymede

First Cynog Derth talks about having him fall on the blade if the attack fails. The rest of the party does not accept this but without a better plan lets the conversation go down faking other people, maybe using Douglas Shermans seal, but nothing becomes abslute.

Day 2

The testing of the troops

Cynog Derth masterfully preps the troops of Almirn and Bellkind to go under Silverrige leadership.

Spice Spies

Saffron spies are found and killed by House Bellkind the party is able to see the people, but when they try to take weapons the Bellkind advise not using heretic weapons, and they burn the bodies

The Stylights

as Carrick Silverridge tells The Cadre of his vision, they come across the Stylight. (A man who lives on a pillar never coming down)). As they come close and give a few alms to the man, eventually Cardinal of the Crown Guadalupe Priston touches the pillar turning it to jade and refreshing the man. The faith of the Bellringer is constant compared to the players homelands.

Lady Shima Songprawati Lady Myo Songprawati are talked to by Carrick Silverridge Shivon Silverridge. The conversation turns to the Stylight and how he is a double insult, how the pillars are an old religious aspect of the Enisen Kings and the dead house of stone House Minimar. House Rolland and the Maw

Caden Mattix goes and helps House Rolland with learning how to ride, the conversation goes to the nature of how the Ferdors are second blessed by The Bell Ringer. From the nature of the maw and then the stars that called out to them.

Arrival at Greenmarble

As they arrive the Rainbow Knights greet them, saying they have been sent from Duchess Oliva Pearlstone to escort them though Pearstone to Mistwick mostly to make sure their troops don't harass the countryside. The party (except for Shivan) camp outside of the city.

They meet the Mayor Boniface Ferguson who brings food and entertainment as requested Carrick Silverridge. A few moments later the Mayor returns with a man who plays a tune, and then leaves.. To then "return?" with another man. The party realizes that the "mayor" had been faked. A notice was left by the band known as Silent Devils who's talents go to spying and sneaking in to keeps. The players higher them for 500 gold, with 100 as a downpayment to rescue the girl from Ganymede.

Coming of the Cardinal

The population rises to honor the Cardinal of the Crown Guadalupe Priston, they arrive at Castle Windbreak. She is escorted by Duke Zachariah Bellkind, Baron Patricio Goyca, Count Stuart Gambu. Conner Silverridge bows before Guadalupe Priston. One group goes off to daily prayers and the members of House Rolland stay behind with Caden Mattix

Meeting House Rolland

Baroness Muireann Rolland meets with Caden Mattix with her siblings, Ciaran Rolland, Cliodhna Rolland, Darren Rolland. Ciaran Rolland Is going to get some training for his first tournament when they arrive in Mistwick from Caden Mattix. The conversation goes to Duke Timothy Whitestar and how Muireann Rolland hopes he becomes more of a fighter, then a diplomat.

Cliodhna Rolland seems to have issues with the Saffron Society

Going to Church

Guadalupe Priston starts the prayers, that the group attempts to keep up. Anya Mosley is invested to Star Lord as each of the members of the court is blessed by Guadalupe Priston. Carrick Silverridge Cynog Derth are effected by the blessings and they can see the power of the bellringer's blessign on a few, as well as there is a flame above Carrick Silverridge's head he later learns is a symbol of his visions for the future. They see people having true healing from the Bellringer faith.

While they are in a prayer a common man is let in, who is then killed by Crusader Troops. Those who could see the blessings see that there is spiritual worms coming out of the would be assassin.

A Meeting Foretold

Learned Juan Diego Learned Emmanuel Nazaro are waiting for Carrick Silverridge. He notices that Juan Diego has a symbol over his head also showing he has the powers of prophecy. They say that they have foretold this meeting.

The visions are given either from Star Gods such as the Bellringer or connection to the Worm Gods. Most of the Ferdors gained it from their connection to the Worm Gods

Learned Emmanuel Nazaro is a expert on House Henge and the old Kingdom of the East, he also notes there is a thought that there might have been a lost Enisen Kings house that was killed off before the coming of the first Bellringer Crusade.

Meeting with the Generals of War

Grand Conquistador Santiago Abyaa General Paz Rodrego talk to Cynog Derth about the nature of war and the aspects of faith. Cynog Derth realizes that that Paz Rodrego took the lands that would belong to Lady Lyla Silverridge.

Diplomatic Party

As Shivon Silverridge Carrick Silverridge goes to the meeting of the Almirn. They warn them of the killing of the Worm Gods supporter. Lady Myo Songprawati and Carrick Silverridge have a connection. She talks of the nature of the Worm Gods and how they are the interconnection of reality. They talk about where they would like to see in the country, lastly she notes that it is the habit of women in Almirn to memorize tales as the heavy moisture makes it that books dacay to quickly. She offers to sing a song of her tales with a guzheng.

The Song of Creation

Meeting with the Lord

Cynog Derth Conner Silverridge meet.

Cynog being part of the House Silverridge Has him hold the north, as even if Cynog does not take the seat his brother will not revolt.

House Covinggard he feels will start a revolt vs House Rivers and he fears that his war will destroy House Silverridge unless they get allies.

He needs Cynog, to train and invest Carrick Silverridge to hold the land when Conner Silverridge can not.

That the attack to get the child of House Wycliff will see if the Mercenaries of Pearstone Will have any value.

*Talks to her father Kindcaid Silverridge, to tell him of the dark assassin. He says he knew of this, and it was a issue with his own father Malcom Silverridge. He knew of the attack but did not believe it. They try to figure out why the attack happened at all. Also the conversation moves to the banners not trusting Carrick Silverridge. Kindcaid Silverridge tells the story of the failures of both Conner Silverridge Malcom Silverridge. A compromise is made where if Conner Silverridge dies his wife will be named regent until Carrick Silverridge reaches maturity.

The conversation moves to rescuing Elizabeth Wycliff. Terresa Wycliff hears Duke Conner Silverridge's story about what happened. She does not believe him, but Duke Conner Silverridge and Cynog Derth come up with a plan to have the characters pretend to join a mercenary guild to rescue her, pretend that she is a hostage, and then they will pay it. Thus making the rivers feel that it was not set up by House Silverridge.

Putting light on the "Dark Bandits

In talking about the attack on Deerholt years ago, Duke Conner Silverridgefelt it was a push from House Montmier to get the noble houses of House Rhinehart House MacBavo to go south. Lyla Silverridge is angry Duke Conner Silverridge did not do more to stop it.

The Sedi?

Then the group tells Connor about House Tarasovich using dark magics and creating an alliance. Duke Conner Silverridge was intrigued that it might be another group of heretics he could join.

The adventure started as The Cadre are arriving at Deerholt, the first thing they notice is that the local farmers have set up a watch and are alerting the town when visitors come. They are met by Mayor Anya Mosley who tells them that Sir Karl Rhinehart Sir Hans Rhinehart are now in the city. While they have not been violent they are acting like it is their town. They built a sawmill and and are building a home for him. They were asked if they came from Windbreak they said they had authority to be here.

Memories

Shivon Silverridge, remembers from her childhood that Sir Karl Rhinehart was a power in the town in her past but then the Night of Knives happened, an attack by very dark bandits, that routed the nobles from Deerholt (in 175 R.E.)

Entry to the City

The Cadre with trepidation enters the city. Where they see a pavilion set up by House Rhienheart, They are first met by Sir Hans Rhinehart who bends the knee to Carrick Silverridge and takes him to his father. His father brought water for the party and then after takes them in to the pavilion.

The conversation goes back and forth, until Sir Karl Rhinehart says that he and his dead wife, Haylee Rhinehart was gifted Deerholt for a marriage dowry by Malcom Silverridge the Duke before the current one Connor Silverrige. Thus the has a weaker claim but still the strongest claim there is. He says the poor folk have treated them badly, but they have tried to just improve the town. It comes up that after the Night of Knives House Rhienheart and House MacBavo fled to the domain of Montmier. Where Sir Hans Rhinehart became a knight. They sent had sent Sir Peter McBavo to talk to Lord Connor Silverrige.

He also tells the party of some of their pasts.

That Caden Mattix was born here, in the building that was destroyed but is being rebuilt

That Shivon Silverridge was taught to ride as a child by him.

They also learn that Sir Luis Covinggard has been telling the story of the liberation of Deerholt and the actions of the The Cadre. Many bits of information the players wanted to keep hidden about O’rih Silverridge living here and that his son Cormac Silverridge has been openly saying his name in the town.

There is a strong push of the local population are struggling at accepting noble rule. They learn that that there is Saffron Society bodies found outside the city.

Getting Advice from the Runewise

They sneak over to O’rih Silverridge who gives them the break down of Malcom Silverridge's deals with House Rhienheart and House MacBavo fully admitting that Connor Silverridge could abandon the claim even though he should not. Caden Mattix asks O’rih Silverridge for his magic sword, he says while he will not give it to him today he will bestow it to him in his will, so Caden Mattix will have something of the House Silverridge line for himself. They decide that they will go talk to Cormac Silverridge about being mayor. They are pushing to have Anya Mosley given another title, maybe head of the Church in the East, or a diplomatic post.

The Dark One Strikes

While they are walking in to Cormac Silverridge's house Shivon Silverridge is grabbed by a garrote and pulled away, The Cadre realises she was taken and he was seen by Lyla Silverridge Caden Mattix. He tells Shivon Silverridge that he will always be there, as he gives her a cut on her collarbone. Lyla Silverridge fires 2 arrows striking true, forcing him to flee. They rescue Shivon Silverridge and they see her bonds fade in to smoke. She is in shock. Gregory Apt Banille gives he some calming heroin, as she is taken to Cormac Silverridge who uses a hypnotism to get a clear story of Night of Knives she experienced when she was 4.

They learn a few things about the killer

He has "dragon" scars on his face from the dragon riders of the south.

He has "dragon" tattoos on his arms.

Cormac Silverridge saw a killing from a man like this on the borders of Bellkind or Almern

Wrap up

They ask Cormac Silverridge to run the city he says that he is waiting for a letter to see if he can join the knights of House Rhelrya. But he is convinced to stay for at least 90 days to run the common folk. They are going to be taking Sir Hans Rhinehart Mayor Anya Mosley to Windbreak

The adventure started as The Cadre are leaving at the Faymill on the road to Deerholt. Carrick Siverridge has a vision!

A great warrior beating many other people, sees the moon fade and is stabbed in the back by 4 people.

They give the Carrick Siverridge a update about the previous meeting where people are worried about his ability to lead.

The Encampment of Shadows

As they are taking the road, they find the weather changes and they come up to an Encampment, To get protection from the weather. They are given a hardly welcome by Clapper Rodegro Alvarez. He offers to have them stay. They meet the rest of the encampment.

Lyla Silverridge looks in the darkness and sees that the guards are teleporting in the darkness, not knowing exactly they are Shadow walkers.

Lady Sarah Ides Tarasovich they are from Covinggard but they joined a trade delegation going from Paradise Valley in Graisti. They sailed to Astorga in Almirn to sell rubies. They donated to the poor, but when leaving they were attacked by pirates on the Sea of Flowers. They were able to beat the pirates but their ship was damaged and crashed on the beach. They now are returning home by land.

Conversation turns to the the nature of nobles having to have children, touching on the nature of illegitimate children. Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich notes that his father was only 16 when he had him. This turns in to them realizing that Sarah Ides Tarasovich is not used to getting compliments. They discern that House Tarasovich is a very powerful minor house.

Blessed Geoffrey Fortier notes that he can see the future from the stars. Sarah Ides Tarasovich notes that she dreams of the past.

Halfway through the night Lady Daphne Polonsky comes out from the tent, easily recognizable as one of the 4 great beauties in history. The moon fades with her brilliance. They learn that Lady Daphne Polonsky was adopted to the House Polonsky. She says that she met with Peacekeeper Louis Covinggard That told her the players backgrounds. It comes out most of the journey even thoughts they made money was primarily for the young nobles to see the eastern lands.

Lady Daphne Polonsky says she is looking for a great man, the cadre eventually realizes that this means that she is prepared to be a foil to stop Leon Blackwood.

Clapper Bell Jean-Paul talks about how her family was so poor she was child labor for the Church. From that because of fighting other children she was taken to the Clapper Schools, to become a warrior for the Bell.

Sarah Ides Tarasovich Confesses that she keeps steel knitting needles, she says that she has made many of the flags of families that '''''Honor them.''''' She shows a book of her work, giving the impression that many houses have given them homage.

Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich Has a conversation with Lyla Silverridge, about the heir maybe being a match for Sarah Ides Tarasovich, The is stopped as House Tarasovich only gives repucation not troops, land or wealth. Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich says that he knew Lyla Silverridge's family well he knows personally Baron Errol Talmert and from that knows the legend of Rory Silverridge meeting and falling in love with Celia Silverridge. Lyla Silverridge Also inquires about Daphne Polonsky "absorbing" the moonlight enlists a story that on Daphne Polonsky birth had a lunar eclipse for 3 days. They say that her "absorbing" is something that happens every night. It lasts about a 5 or 10 minute walk from her.

The group goes to bed, and Carrick Silverridge has another vision!

Vision 2

He has a waking dream, hearing a discordant bell ring, and he looks out side of the tent to see the fire, has become "shadow fire" almost a creature of black flame. The trees shadows rise and come on the fire, making it in to a old well.

The Next Morning

Carrick Silverridge wakes Gregory Apt Banille, as they realize that there is a man outside of the tent, when they reach for him they just see footprints. Gregory Apt Banille gets his puppy to track the footprints to a tree, where a person might have been in. With the noise they are making they raise the rest of the camp.

He tries to tell the guards what he saw, but they are giving half answers and deflecting. After that the Bellringers, and the guards do prayers. Carrick Silverridge Prays with them realizing that the "guards" are praying slightly different prayers.

Carrick Silverridge, asks' Sarah Ides Tarasovich about the well from his dream, she says it's an old symbol of her house that is not used, she also lets her knowledge slip though. He then tries to push with learning information about the "black flame" and she tries her best to tell Carrick Silverridge not to ask about it, for his own danger.

After the party leaves they talk about what they think is happening.

They feel that they House Tarasovich is likely the retainers of House Sedi and have their magics.

The adventure started as The Cadre at the Orange Belltower Inn with Victor Rameriz who gives them each a loan of 200 silver each.

The Horse Fields

The Cadre go to the horse fields and with some great rolls learn a few facts.

What are the best of the horses shown on the field.

They have a group of horses hidden from the public that the interbreeding of them gives them a chance for their special horses every generation.

They then have a hearty meal, and are met up with Amund Henge who invites them back to Bridemin Manor

The old noble house questions the new

Baron Shaun Henge, Ingrid Henge, Amund Henge, and Emogene Cosono meet with The Cadre. There is major questions on Carrick Silverridge's representation on the road.

He has not shown combat, or leadership prowess, In Deerholt or any other combat.

If he is relying on his intelligence then his lack of taking a test shows he is a coward

The Cadre do their best to try to rebuke these questions but they are valid ones. They gain some support from Emogene Cosono, and Shivon Silverridge socially pushes back on the Baron Shaun Henge. (After the meeting Shivon Silverridge tries to patch things up.) Amund Henge also tells the group that 100 men ready for war.

Amud Henge, Cynog Derth, And Terresa Wycliff will be the representees of each of the banners will go to the Convocation at Mistwick.

Open Mic Night

Back at the Orange Belltower Inn, The tourney knights are brought closer to the party.

*Archibald Foster joins the armies of House Silverridge

*Aden Kelmons with finding a connection with Lyla Silverridge he will go with them if they go to House Pearstone by water, but he can't go if they take the long road there.

Montross Oldar starts singing.

*"The 3 Ravens" is a song about how the saffrons will take out the knight defenders of the land.

*"Her Sweet Kiss" is a song about a bittersweet love, implying that Shaun Henge may have stepped out on his wife.

*"Sleeping in the Cold Below" Is a song about Emer Ramirez getting the Pirate Kings to attack, Deerhold

The Learned Jules DuPree was asked to tell Cynog Derth what he knows of the history of tactics. Jules DuPree, says that he fought in the islands to the south, where he lost a kidney. He talks also about the Basilisk Tongue fighters of the Mon-Ki-Ra.

History of House Sedi

Jules DuPree's starts the tale.

He starts with showing where the domain of House Sedi was, it was focused on House Pearstone with the lands moving to the north to take the capital, and to the west taking over the mountains of House Covenguard. House Sedi had a army that was not filled with their own people. House Rivers had infiltrated their own armies with troops that were not loyal. Even the secret police of House Sedi was trained in rivers domain, they were known as Shadow Guard people who could teleport through shadows. Fleeing Oldwyn the royal army was attacked by their own troops. Pushing south they had to give up all their wealth to turn some of the mercenaries to their side. As they made it to Bradninch, House Talmert stood with their archers and knights. While they would not give the final blow. For the previous crimes of House Sedi destroying the other Estin houses they would not be allowed to pass.

Turning around the weight of the House Covenguard and House Rivers Troops had pushed them by the river at Orholt. House Sedi used ancient magics to call on the elements to push the troops back, and where causing loses on the rebels side. Then Duke Matthias Rivers marches out to parlay with the Emperor Rustam Sedi it seems that after 3 hours a deal was struck for peace.

As Emperor Rustam Sedi rides away, a lone archer from the House Rivers toops, shoots an arrow in the head of Rustam Sedi killing him instantly. The archer is crucified, but the House Sedi troops have nothing left to fight for. In exchange for bending the knee, the troops are allowed to scatter.

The adventure started as The Cadre on the outskirts of Faemill, with Leon Blackwood after they arrive he stays at a local in waiting for the information they promised him. (this was later sent by a page). It seems like a festival time, with merchants and many people in the city.

Carrick Silverridge sees Cofisa Tower and tries to get entry, they rebuff him and his group as they are not members of The Tested. They go then to Manor Bridemin, meet Amund Henge and then they learn that the tournament is happening today and that they could participate if they wanted.

The Bathers

Shivon Silverridge Carrick Silverridge, stay behind and have a bath. After the bath, Shivon Silverridge explores the house and meets Emogene Cosono The head of the tested in the east. She gives an offer for the House Silverridge to take a private test so there will not be any dishonor if they fail and are killed. In a conversation about Leon Blackwood, Emogene Cosono notes the mysterious Sleeping Gryphon a Bellringer mystic, who has the power of the control of reality.

After the Tournament the group goes to the local tavern Orange Belltower Inn, They learn a famous minstrel is going to be playing tomorrow named Montross Oldar, eventually Carrick Silverridge comes and gets drunk.

Dinner at Bridemin Manor

The cadre return with now Carrick Silverridge still drunk is dropped off in a room, as the dinner starts. Other then the members of House Henge there is also Montross Oldar and Emogene Cosono are also in there.

Caden Mattix makes a strong positive impression with Ingrid Henge, possibly starting a relationship.

Elric Henge invites them to go to the horse fields tomorrow.

They learn that the great steed Red Hare was bought for 3 years of tax by Douglas Sherman.

The Peacekeepers Arrive

Hearing 3 bells, people realize some imperial units are coming in. As the bells go, Montross Oldar sneaks away but is confronted by Cynog Derth and she says that she wishes no will to House Henge but will not wait for the peacekeepers, she will tell Cynog Derth what her story is at the tavern later.

As the Peacekeepers (one named Alfred Brester) come in they also have a man with him, who turns out to be Victor Rameriz.

After some prodding from Emogene Cosono it comes out that Victor Rameriz's goal is to go to Windbreak to tell Connor Silverrige of the Grand Conclave of houses.

The cadre leave to the Orange Belltower Inn to regroup for the next night.

The adventure started as the cadre is at Bellmore trying to decide if they would take the invitation of Fiona Silveroak to Orange Villa. They decide that they would first go to Wilhelmina Senjen's meeting with the Saffron Society.

Saffron Society Meeting

After paying the money to [Wilhelmina Senjen]] a dog leads them to the meeting.

They meet a tanner who tells them a story of Imperial tax collectors, taking all of his wealth and jailing those who tried to right the wrong.

He has be part of the attacks on those who have been harmed.

The conversation goes more mystical, and they learn that any who submit to the god of the saffrons can be imbed with magic powers.

Lunch at the Orange Villa

Bellringer Pellmore Green, Fiona Silveroak and Audry Caragin are at the villa in a strong contrast to their meeting with the saffron's this is the luxury of the nobility.

After some light playful seduction, they go to a meal where gifts are given

She gives the information that Merida Silverridge is a member of House Bennet, and thus a cousin to Dutchess Lucy Montmier.

There are 3 types of wardogs

Searchers - They hunt for a type of thing (Clothing, troops, contraband ect)

Warriors - They strike first and soften up the battle

Protectors - They wait and try to stop attacks vs their masters.

When they leave, to the The Open Yard they are escorted by Taegan Derth who is more open in conversation as it's not in public.

He tells some weird concept mystically that as the dog Ustus, drank the blood of the dead Quinlan Derth has made some magical connection to the dog.

The next morning the cadre breaks up in to 3 groups.

Group 1 - They go off to the booksellers Wilhelmina's Scrolls & Knowledge, and the local dog kennel.

Wilhelmina Senjen Sells a 2 books, one a racy book The Hill Tribes of Paradise Valley and the other Iskar The Saffron Isle Capital and gives the players the offer to meet up with a Saffron Society Member??? if they return tomorrow they will set up an meeting.

At the Kennel Gregory apt Bentil gets a greyhound puppy for himself.

Group 2 Cynog Derth goes to investigate where House Derth fought the Saffron Society

A the location, they he learned their tactics, they start with normal farm and small folk then, trained soldiers. Lastly there is a group that committed suicide.

The general weapons had the hidden mark of the society, but daggers seemed to have a magical mark. Later they learn that mark holds a sacrifice for a future ritual.

Group 3 Shivon Silverridge & Caden Mattix go to the local market

The first person she meets is a merchant who sells her a gryphon hide gloves, and notes that she also has rings for bribing tested. This strongly implies that he has connections with the bandits to get trade past the bandits.

The second person they meet is Fiona Silveroak who is of the minor noble family of Silveroak. They said that they knew of the House Silverridge aunt that lives in the north. Also they learn that there is special wood that makes the best arrow shafts in the country. They were invited to the Orange Villa that is just in House Whitestar domain.

From there they came across a group of merchants who had been killed by bandits the bodies were stripped and hidden. The party spent a night in the woods before moving ahead and seeing a group of well armed merchants. One of the least armed asked for help as the party was attacked. The party beat them easily but there was a disagreement with if the least armed was with the bandits or not. They erred on the side that he would not do them any harm and moved on to Bellmore, with a wagon full of Berserker Moss.

They arrive at Bellmore and eventually get inside Vulture's Roost, and meet up with dog Ustus and Beastmaster Andrew Morrey. They meet up with young Starla Derth and the Baroness Emma Derth-McKain they learn that the Saffron Society has been attacking Bellmoor constantly. Even right now the Snow Kissed unit with Sir Taegan Derth and the Watchdogs under Baron Fredrick Derth.

They also learn that the Saffron Society has been putting special marks hidden on weapons to give them a perk.

Also that a small symbol of the Saffron Society are windchimes in poor homes.

When Taegan Derth returns his brother Cynog Derth start ribbing one another giving insults but making a point to stay far away from anything that would be damaging. He leaves and Cynog Derth secludes himself with the announcement of his father's Baron Fredrick Derth coming. He is with a group of mystics. The game stops and will start with the questions they have of Baron Fredrick Derth

The Rivers Empire has allowed the meeting of all the Great Houses to create a great army to stop the Saffron Society

On the way Layla Silverridge finds and tracks down the urchin that was missing a hand, she tracks them down to a large house with an underground meeting area. There with her keen sight she was able to see one person later seen at the great hall of House Wycliff, his name is Laurence Palmer.

After a conversation they return to the fort. Making a request for a few things.

They wanted command of one of House Wycliff's troops.

The compromise was the troop would stay in Esterash, but will come when called for a greater army.

They asked about the missing daughter.

They said that she was taken hostage by 3 Peacekeepers, as a hostage to protect imperial naval ships. She is currently being held at Ganymede. They ask the cadre, to rescue their daughter the cadre gives support to them vs House Rivers

They request to have a say in Terresa Wycliff's future marriage, in fear that her power could give a enemy house enough power to destroy House Silverridge.

Out of the blue and without her parents foreknowledge she says that she wants to marry Sir Luis Covinggard. With his influence, she feels she can rescue her sister. Everyone seemly supports the idea if they fail to get the daughter in a way.

They ask to have Terresa Wycliff to go to Windbreak to tell the Duke Connor Silverridge in person the secrets she has learned.

She says that she is hunted by killers sent by a mercenary band from Pearstone called Sun Whips Stationed at Butterhill. The cadre decide to send her back on the Griffons Beak to get here their safely.

They also ask for updates about the local area.

They have built a hiding ambush spot on the road north in House Whitestar domain.

House Whitestar is ready for conflict so much that their banners might be turned if they could go to war.

House Pearstone does not have control of most of their armies, who knows if she can hold them together.

House Montmier Is pressed having had to pay off other nobles to put the Duchess Lucy Montmier family in many key titles, they might be bought off by giving the south of House Silverridge's domain.

House Almirn While having naval power does not have land power out of their jungles, they are likely going to be invaded by House Bellkind. Also that Somchai Frick son might be a child of a union with a shaman woman of the Mon-ra-ki

In arriving there they find a sacrifice pit, and a mosaic that describes dark rituals of rebirth. They go deeper and find 3 books.

A book of the dead, having the names of the sacrificed.

A book of life, the names of those who have been reborn.

The Diary of Ruisín Ó Duinn

They return after some time dilatations and fleeing from the cultists. They tell the court, and Conor Silverridge say he will call Bellringer priests to cleans the site.

As they sneak in they get to a bar, where they meet a Bellringer Priest (Anya Mosley), who tells them that there is a warrior in the town but his ax was taken away and the players have the opportunity to deliver it to him. They kill a few more bandits before they get to O’rih Silverridge house where they meet his son (Cormac Silverridge), the warrior.

They gradually learn that [O’rih Silverridge]] is a man of legend in the House Silverridge background, and he gives them a plan to attack the priest when he is asleep the party burn his house but he is rescued by a dark stranger who flees with him. The party decides to return to Windbreak, saying goodbye to the Spring Oath Brothers (Gregory Yabarra, Sir Luis Covinggard and Zain Forester) & Amund Henge as they go.

As they leave they decide to name Anya Mosley a knight and Mayor of Deerholt

The first game, the characters meet with the Duke Silverridge, and he tells you now due to disruptions in the banners that the party must make a more active effort in improving the domain. After that they go to a local pub and see the level of disparity with the poor and the nobles. This leads to a fight the players win easily. After that Sir Rory tells them the disposition of the diplomats.
